Tinpot Hut Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough New Zealand, 2008
Readers rated this wine:
Everything you love in Kiwi Sauvignon Blancs - when I was blind tasting Sauvignon Blancs recently this was an obvious typical Marlborough style. Loads of minerality with ripe gooseberry, some melon hints, citrus, herbs and grass clippings. Snappy on the palate, the flavours echo the aromas with plenty of grass and gooseberry, a bit of passion fruit and citrus peel on the tail end. Crisp, with a very good, long finish.
