Louis Jadot 'Couvent des Jacobins' Chardonnay, Bourgogne France
Readers rated this wine:
Golden, toasted, elegant.
Value is relative, but as far as a bottle of wine, which drinks like it costs more than it does, well that's value in my books.
This blend of Chardonnay from the Cote d'Or and Maconnais and it is aged partially in oak and the rest in stainless steel.
I could drink this wine every day. It is golden in colour and offers notes of toasted hazelnuts, acacia, lively citrus with grilled yellow apples and spice atop toasted pastries. The palate follows with golden fruits, hazelnuts and honey with an elegant weight and refreshing acidity.
Pair: White meats and oily fish, soft-medium cheeses and creamy pastas.

The palate is concentrated and similarly attired with nuts, citrus and creamy golden fruits. It is lively and mouthwatering with just a hint of creaminess to take the edge off. Meyer Family Vineyards 'McLean Creek Road' Chardonnay, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:

From the Meyer Family Estate McLean Creek Road vineyard in Okanagan Falls, this Chardonnay has been fermented in stainless steel before being moved to French oak barrels (18% new) for 10 months.
Snappy yellow fruits and vibrant lemony flavours atop some toasted notes leas to a smoothly woven palate with yellow apples, fine spice and judicious oak.
Deftly handled and a delicious; freshness is the key to this wine.
