El Petit Bonhomme, Jumilla Spain
Readers rated this wine:
Fragrant, supple, value.
Here's a blend of Monastrell, Garnacha and Syrah, that packs a lot of value into every glass.
Fragrant cherry, strawberry, salted licorice, pipe tobacco, wild purple flowers and baking spice notes are expressed on the nose. The palate entry is supple, it has generous purple fruit and chocolaty espresso notes, which trail on the finish.
Velvety and fresh--it's a great weekday wine for pasta, pizza or BBQ.

Zesty, classic, snappy.
Giesen is co-owned by brothers Marcel, Alex ad Theo Giesen who own 13 vineyards in Marlborough spread across the Southern Valleys, Wairau and Lower Wairau, of those 11% are certified organic.
In this estate Savvy, elderflower, peach and passionfruit aromas are woven with snappy notes of green apple, gooseberry and nettle. It has an earthier grounded palate with primary lime and grapefruit flavours. Tangy and zesty, it shows classic Marlborough character.

Glen Carlou 'Grand Classique', Paarl South Africa
Readers rated this wine:
Delicious, complete, generous.
This classic Grand Classique blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet Franc offers excellent consistency but this 2016 really stands out. Velvety aromas of black raspberries, cassis, vanilla, licorice, cola spices and purple flowers lead to a palate that is supple with generous fruit. Plush black fruit, exotic spices, and mocha, which trail across the finish. Balanced and delicious with silky tannins this is a complete wine, delicious to drink, and utterly pleasing.
Pair: Smoked eggplant, grilled meats, aged cheeses, hearty stews and pastas.

Glen Carlou Chardonnay, Paarl, South Africa
Readers rated this wine:
Golden and toasted with hazelnut apple pastries, grilled lemon, brown spice and vanilla aromas that morph into nutty and spicy flavours. It has a toasty character which is balanced with yellow apples and balanced acidity. Lengthy and fresh, this is a Chardonnay for Chardy lovers.
