Mt. Boucherie Estate Winery Reserve Syrah, British Columbia
Readers rated this wine:
Impressive, fragrant, seamless.
From the Lazy River vineyard in the Similkameen Valley and the Summer Breeze Vineyard in Osoyoos, Mount Boucherie's reserve tier Syrah was aged in American and French oak, 25% new,
A bold statement of finely ground black pepper leads the charge and is braided with fragrant black raspberry and vanilla, a drizzle of pomegranate molasses and undertones of bittersweet cocoa and roasted coffee. Smooth and seamless the expressive wild red and black berry flavours are tossed with cocoa. Savoury undertones are expected, and the finish boasts sweet ripe tannins.
Impressive showing.
Pair:BBQ, savoury casseroles, wild mushrooms, cheese fondue, aged goat cheese and crusty bread slathered in smoky babaganoush.

Mt. Boucherie Estate Winery Rose, Okanagan Valley, BC
Readers rated this wine:
Dry, balanced, tangy.
Made entirely from estate West Kelowna fruit, this co-fermented field blend of Zweigelt and Pinot Noir is the colour of watermelon juice. Aromas of apple skin and wild red berries, grapefruit and melon with hints of spice. Good structure and balance; it's a dry style with a bouncy character. Expect sour cherry, cranberry, tangy citrus and tealeaf flavours. Mouthwatering and perfect for oily fish, mushroom burgers, creamy cheeses and fatty meats.

Delicious, savoury, supple.
A delicious Syrah with sweet and savoury characters.
Smoked meat, leather and coffee, soy and molasses aromas are lifted with blackberries, black cherries and white pepper. It is smooth and weighted with generous black fruits, leather, dark chocolate and espresso flavours.

Mt. Boucherie Family Estate Pinot Gris, Okanagan Valley BC, 2010
Readers rated this wine:

The Gidda family is the largest holder of family-owned vineyards in the Okanagan Valley, and they have been growing grapes for 40 years.
A ripe style, leaning to the sweeter side this concentrated Pinot Gris is undoubtedly good value. It is fragrant with creamy pears, citrus blossoms, guava, lime and wild honey. The palate follows suit - It is weighty on the palate with loads of citrus and concentrated fruit followed with a mouth-watering spicy and zesty finish.
One caveat, the 14.4% alc makes it a bit hot on the finish.
Recommended pairings with poached salmon, hearty root vegetable dishes or mushroom risotto.
