Tinhorn Creek Merlot, Okanagan Valley BC, 2005
Readers rated this wine:
Licorice, vanilla and sweet oak aromas with red cherries and leather, savoury herbs like dill and sage with undertones of smoked meat, cedar and cocoa notes. Smooth on the entry with leather, spiced chocolate and vanilla flavours. Good structure, good acidity, a dusty texture mid-palate with fine tannins on the finish.
And it's screw-top to boot!
