Tinhorn Creek, Cabernet Franc, Okanagan BC, 2004
Readers rated this wine:
I am the first to admit Cabernet Franc isn't the first varietal I reach for but there are a handful of producers that I think make it well in British Columbia. The Tinhorn Cab Franc is one, it's always a tasty treat, food friendly and very affordable. The 2004 is brimming with spiced black cherry and berry, cocoa, green herbs and rich earth with a nice dose of acidity on the palate which is what helps it pair so well with food.
