Pentage Merlot, Okanagan Valley BC, 2005
Readers rated this wine:
Ripe cherries, dried fruits and smoked plummy aromas with undertones of cedar, vanilla, leather, savoury tones and pepper. Full-bodied with substantial power, plums and fruitcake, warm spices and earth with some lingering roasted coffee bean on the finish. The tannins are fine-grained but still have a solid grip on the wine.
