Penascal Sauvignon Blanc, Castilla Y Leon Spain, 2006
Readers rated this wine:
Typical Sauvignon Blanc aromatics - grass clippings and passion fruit, elderflowers with hints of talc and caramel and plenty of mineral notes. The palate has a surprisingly rounded texture, flavours are of melon and tart tropical fruits, loads of citrus and cut grass with earthy characteristics and a zesty finish.
Good value.
