Tohu Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough New Zealand, 2006
Readers rated this wine:
The tropical aromas in this wine are really coming out. Passionfruit and gooseberry, snap peas and loads of fresh grassy notes. The palate is a stand out for its softly rounded mouth-feel, the flavours show gooseberry, grass and tropical fruit - mango and papaya with bright citrus. Its snappy but won't make your cheeks cave in.

All the aromas that we love in New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc...Zippy and fresh showing gooseberry, cat pee (yes, I know that makes you cringe but its true), cut grass and asparagus notes. Clean and zesty on the palate with kiwi and more gooseberry flavours, loads of citrus and minerals, lively but not bracing acidity with a lingering finish.
