Earthy and savoury - a very juicy, unique wine, meant for food!
Aromas are of red berries and raspberry rooibos tea initially then savoury, earthy aromas appear followed by darker fruits... Supple on the palate, the flavours are echoed on the palate side-by-side with bittersweet chocolate and juicy fruit, the tea flavours linger and the acidity is bright.
The Bonarda grape of Argentina was, until the recent popularity of Malbec, the most widely planted red wine variety.
