Blasted Church 'The Dam Flood', Okanagan BC, 2007
Readers rated this wine:
Made from 60% Lemberger and 40% Merlot The Dam Flood is a memorable name but it also honors a historical event in the Okanagan.
Rich dark berry aromas, chcocolate, smoked meaty notes, vanilla and spiced dried cherries. Slightly dusty on the palate with more savoury smoked meat flavours followed by spiced cocoa. Medium-bodied with bright acidity.
