One of the consistently best producers of Sauvignon Blanc I have tasted from New Zealand. Although it has all of the stunning aromatics that is classic to this region it does not fall short on the palate like many other Kiwi Sauv Blancs do...
Aromas are of elderflower, nettles and gooseberry, pineapple and cactus pear with loads of elegant minerality. That limestone minerality carries through on the palate with excellent concentration of fruit and citrus. Expect mouth-watering acidity and a softly rounded - bordering on lush - palate but it maintains its snappy character and lingers impressively...
