Mezzacorona Pinot Noir IGT Trentino Italy, 2007
Readers rated this wine:
Although Pinot Noir from Italy is not a common find, Mezzacorona does well by it, presenting characteristic cherry and rhubarb aromas, herbs and cocoa nibs with some rustic leather and tar undertones. It's light in body with flavours of cherry, cigarbox and fine spice. It's has a smooth, juicy palate with no discernable tannins.
Pair this well priced Pinot with a creamy mushroom souffle.
