An easy-drinking wine without a suggestion of seriousness. The Three Thieves are a trio who souce grapes from the glut of California and produce their "jug wines" in St. Helena. I'll admit its pretty cool to get 33% more wine in a 1L container that is similar in size to a 750ml bottle.
This California Cabernet (actually 80% Cabernet, 15% Syrah and 5% red blenders) has in your face sweet berry/plummy and cherry cough drop aromas with vanilla, chocolate, spice and vanilla notes. Medium-bodied, sweet and rich with blueberry, choco-mocha and cola spices on the finish. A supple, easy, quaffer.
