Citra Montepulciano D'Abruzzo Italy, 2007
Readers rated this wine:
The weekday value wine that will take you from Chef Boyardee to gourmet pizza. One litre at under ten bucks that smells of cherries and ripe berries, leather and spice is a deal. The fact that it has enough rustic character to make you feel like you are sipping vino de casa out of a carafe in Abruzzo and impresses you with its simple, mocha, cherry and earthy, leathery flavours is a bonus. Easy drinking with rough tannins but juicy flavours...
