CJ Pask 'Roy's Hill' Merlot, Hawkes Bay New Zealand, 2006
Readers rated this wine:
The Roy's Hill Merlot is a dark ruby red with aromas of charred cherries and grilled plums, earth, oak and spice with hints of herbs. The flavours are tart fruit, toasted oak, leather and spice. It's medium-bodied with loads of acidity and young tannins, on the finish it's fresh but tight.
