Pentage Viognier, Okanagan Valley BC, 2007
Readers rated this wine:
As is typical from this lovely grape, you'll find aromas of peaches and lime, pomelo citrus and fragrant white blossoms with spice in the Pentage, but it's not overly aromatic as Viognier can be though. Perhaps the addition of 13% Chardonnay in this version has a subduing affect. The palate is snappy and clean and at the same time it's rounded and warm with mineral, stone fruit and clove flavours and a long spiced finish.
