Beringer "California Collection" White Zinfandel, California 2008
Readers rated this wine:
The discovery/mistake of White Zinfandel saved not only wine producers, but a lot of Zinfandel vines in the 1970s. Consumers, finding these sweet, fresh wines to their liking have never looked back. Even as more and more dry pink wines hits the shelves at higher alcohol levels, blush wines or White Zins are still extremely popular.
If you are in the mood for a sweet wine with low alcohol the Beringer has confectionary aromas of strawberries, marshmallow and cotton candy. In the mouth it's sweet but with plenty of crisp citrus and peachy flavours to add to it's berry notes.
Good for sipping solo or drink with spicy Asian cuisine.
