Masi Tupungato Passo Doble, Argentina, 2006
Readers rated this wine:
Passo Doble means two-step in Spanish - its also a very seductive, dramatic dance that emulates the movements of a bullfighter.
Made in the style of Amarone, the Passo Doble is a blend of Corvina and Malbec from the famed Italian producer - Masi.
It has blended aromas of juicy red cherries and red plums, dried fruit, dark floral, coffee, spice and vanilla hints. On the palate it's full-bodied and smooth with seductive Paso Doble flavours, good acidity and fine, dusty tannins on the finish.
