Dunham Froese 'Amicitia' White, Okanagan Valley BC, 2007
Readers rated this wine:
Ah-mee-CHEE-tee ah is a latin word meaning friends, it's a very difficult word to decipher on a label, but I give them credit for the thought behind the name....Dunham Froese is employing not only organic, but biodynamic practices in their vineyards which I applaud.
This fragrant blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Viognier has gobs of stone fruit - peach and apricot - citrus, exotic floral, vanilla and honey and is liberally spiced. Slick on the palate with excellent extraction - the Viognier really pops here - and a long, hot finish.
