Made from 50+year old Tempranillo vines the Gormaz shows ripe purple berries and a potpourri of cedar chips and dried flowers with earthy and savoury undertones. Smoky on the palate with plenty of leather, coffee grounds and peppery flavours. The texture is slightly granular with powdery tannins - a wine made for rich meat dishes.
