Unabashed, supple, muscular.
This unabashed South Okanagan Cabernet rolls out aromas of cassis and purple berries, tobacco, dried apricot and mocha, cedar and wet clay aromas. It's has a dry and earthy character with spice and leather, chocolate and spice. The weight is supple and it has overall generosity, which result in powerful tannin structure.

Moon Curser Cabernet Sauvignon, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Spicy, savoury, muscular.
This Southern Okanagan Cabernet delivers aromas of black current and black raspberry, vanilla, graphite, coffee leather, mint and tealeaf that roll onto a supple palate with chalky tannins. Extracted, it has oak spice, charred tobacco and vague black fruit flavours. It is muscular but youthful and could benefit from time to harmonize.

Moon Curser Carmenere, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Savoury, fresh, classic.
Chile's flagship Carmenere is always smartly represented by Osoyoos' Moon Curser. Grown in the hot South Okanagan the 2021 (the last vintage of this wine I tasted was the 2019) shows classic notes of green bell peppers and green olives, black licorice and coffee, roasted plum and dark chocolate, tobacco and quite notable salty undertones. It is supple and savoury but also juicy. Flavours of salted wildberries and cocoa dominate the palate.
