Bright, juicy, fragrant.
Grown on the rocky, calcium-rich benches of the Black Sage, south of Oliver, this delightful Pinot Noir offers fragrant aromas of raspberry, pomegranate, vanilla, sweet spices and sous bois with a bouquet of roses and violets. The palate is smooth and sweet, redolent with ruby fruit, leather, cocoa, cigar and spice. Fine boned, smooth and stylish. Grown on the rocky, calcium-rich benches of the Black Sage, south of Oliver, this fabulous Pinot Noir offers fragrant aromas of cherry and raspberry, sweet spices, cedarbox and violets with a core of rainforest floor, sage and white pepper. It's fresh and silky on the palate, it has an elegant, feminie character and plenty of juicy; high-toned red fruit underscored with leather and cedar flavours. The finish is clean and trails fine spice flavours.

Pinotage, a South African variety (Cinsault crossed with Pinot Noir) has its fans and its critics, but when you talk about this rare variety in British Columbia, Stoneboat is usually the first to spring to mind.
This inky ruby-shaded red was aged 18 months in a mix of partially new French and US oak. It delivers aromas of vanilla and dried herbs, licorice, black cherry, cocoa, coffee, leather, tobacco and violets with undertones of wild red berries.
It has juicy red fruit on the palate with good grip and earthy/spicy and coffee/black chocolate flavours to mimic the nose.

The wine was fermented in stainless steel and aged 18-months in French (64%) and American oak, 15% new barrels. Aromas of strawberry jam and green bell pepper, leather, cedar, peppery spices and bacon fat lead to a palate with texture and notable acidity. It has an earthy character and brooding dark chocolate-like flavour with sooty tannins.
