Okanagan Valley
Oliver / Osoyoos

Stoneboat 'Alessio', Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Creamy, slick, zingy.
This estate grown Pinot Blanc offers wild honey, rainforest floor/mushrooms, creamy orchard fruits and citrus peel aromas. It is zingy and is drier than the nose leads you to believe; it has a discernible earthy/wild character and a slick texture with a zesty finish.

Stoneboat 'Bubble Boat', Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Fresh, fizzy, zesty.
Stoneboat makes estate wines from its home vineyard on the Black Sage gravel bar in Oliver. Constructed like a Prosecco, in the charmat (aka cuvee close) method (all fermentation happens in tank) this moussey crown-capped bubbly is made from a blend of Gruner Veltliner, L'Acadie Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Riesling and Siegerrebe.
Straw coloured, it features aromas of mountain stream and melon, sweet wild herbs, wild honey and musk melon. It's both zesty and earthy with flavours of orchard fruits, citrus pith and honey. Fresh and fizzy,

Stoneboat 'Grand Piano' Brut, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Fizzy, fresh, dry.
One in Stoneboat's sparkling series of wines and named for the white baby grand piano, which sits in Stoneboat's tasting room, this bubbly is made in Method Cuvee Close (meaning in a closed tank) like the sparkling Proseccos from Italy's Veneto region. It's also called charmat
The shade is a yellow gold and it rolls out aromas of apple juice and cantaloupe and Meyer lemons. It has a fizzy character and medium-sized bubbles. A creamy palate is dry and straightforward with a nice citrus peel and lemon pastry finish 100% Pinot Blanc; one-third aged in neutral new oak for seven months.
