Woven, honest, stylish.

Another strong wine in Michael Bartier's portfolio, this swish estate Chardonnay delivers faint toast and nuts, yellow apples, grilled lemons. Silky and fresh woven and stylish, it's a delicious and wonderfully balanced version.

Bartier Bros. Gewurztraminer, Okanagan Valley, BC
Readers rated this wine:
Perfumed, intense, precise.
Hailing from Summerland from the silty, sandy loam and granitic till soils of Giants Head Volcanic Cone, this striking Gewurz is boldly perfumed with peaches in honey, rose oil, mango and lychee and exotic spice. The palate is intense too; warm star anise leads the charge and is followed up with flavours of peaches, honey and kaffir lime. A drier style it has precision, concentration and persistence. A standout Gew in BC.
Pairs Great with Gone Crackers Roasted Shallot & Herb

Bartier Bros. Grenache~Syrah, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Seamless, stylish, fresh.
Without doubt, Michael Bartier is one of British Columbia's most talented and humble winemakers. He makes honest wines and trusts the site and the fruit to dictate the wine. My favourite of his reds, this Grenache (61%)~Syrah (39%) used to be a GSM (Grenache,Syrah, Mourvedre), and is harvested from the estate vineyard on the Black Sage Bench. It was aged 16 months in 225L French oak barrels.
Cherry, vanilla, wild berries and star anise, pipe tobacco, purple flowers, white pepper and cola aromas lead to a smooth and fresh palate. Primary red fruit flavours pop on the palate alongside spice and white pepper. Stylish, seamless and wonderfully balanced.

Bartier Bros. Grenache~Syrah~Mourvedre, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Seamless, lovely, juicy.
Without doubt, Michael Bartier is one of British Columbia's most talented and humble winemakers. He makes honest wines and trusts the site and the fruit to dictate the wine. My favourite of his reds, the GSM Grenache (43%), Syrah (38%), Mourvedre (20%) is harvested from the estate vineyard on the Black Sage Bench, and was aged 16 months in 225L French oak barrels.
Raspberries and cherry twizzler notes are woven with Turkish coffee, black chocolate, violets and sweet pipe tobacco aromas. It has a silky, fresh and genuine palate and it really highlights the Grenache fruit and the Syrah's white pepper flavours. Lovely balance and cohesiveness, it then culminates in a lengthy finish of brown spice, purple berries and tea.

Bartier Bros. Grenache~Syrah~Mourvedre, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Seamless, woven, juicy.
Without doubt, Michael Bartier is one of British Columbia's most talented and humble winemakers. He makes honest wines and trusts the site and the fruit to dictate the wine. This first release GSM Grenache (44%), Syrah (36%), Mourvedre (20%) was aged 14 months in 225L French oak barrels.
It's an extroverted wine, evocative of Southern Rhone blends similar to this one; expect sunwarmed cherries and licorice root, strawberries and toasted spice, roasted coffee beans and finely ground white pepper aromas. Juicy red fruit sprinkled with white pepper, salted Dutch licorice, leather and tobacco flavours are woven on a seamless palate. Medium-bodied and truly enjoyable--a wonderful new addition to the portfolio.
