Chateau d'Antugnac 'La Closerie des Lys 'Les Fruitieres', France
Readers rated this wine:
Fresh, earthy, juicy.
Here's a value pink, born in the Languedoc and made of Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Merlot. It's a stained white with fresh notes of cherry, crab apples, orange blossoms, garrigue, cedar and faint spice. On the palate marzipan takes the lead and is layered with strawberry, peach slices and honey. It has a kiss of sweetness and is entirely quaffable. A mouthwatering sipper or pair with grilled fish or medium cheeses, hearty summer salads and chicken or turkey dinners. ©copyright 2022 Daenna Van Mulligen
