Barone di Valforte Pecorino, Abbruzzo, Italy
Readers rated this wine:
Fragrant, drinkable, charming.
This variety called Pecorino is not only a conversation starter (same name as the cheese, but it's a grape classic to Abruzzo and Marche in Eastern Italy) but is entirely charming. Fragrant aromas of green apples and honey, apricot and jasmine it has a tangy and pristine palate with wonderful weight and concentration. Lively and lengthy, it's a wine you need to discover. ©copyright 2019 Daenna Van Mulligen
