Readers rated this wine:
Fragrant, expressive, intense.

The nose offers black cherry, black raspberry and tea leaf, alongside chocolate spice cake and vanilla. The entry is supple, dry, dusty tannins pull in and hold across the palate. Again chocolaty flavours are layered with fruit and white pepper but it's fresh. The finish is quite powerful.
Pair: Roasted meats, game, hard cheeses.

It's an pleasing sipper, but will pair so well with dinners of roasted meats, game, hard cheeses, or veggie burgers, pizza or grilled mushrooms and eggplant.
