Chateau d'Antugnac 'La Closerie des Lys 'Les Fruitieres', France
Readers rated this wine:
Value, earthy, dry.
Here's a value pink, born in the Languedoc and made of Cinsault, Grenache, Syrha and Merlot. It's a pale rusty-salmon colour and offers sour cherry muddled with apricot, cedar, tangerine and smoked herbs and fine peppery spices. It is done dry with good freshness and hinting at orange bitters, herbs and smoked paprika flavours on the palate; the texture is silky.
Pair with grilled fish or medium cheeses, hearty summer salads and chicken or turkey dinners. ©copyright 2020 Daenna Van Mulligen
