Muscular, supple, savoury.
Italy's southern Aglianico variety is known for it's structure and high acidity. The Teodosio falls into that particular realm with aromas of sweet black and purple berries, a potpourri of dried flowers and cedar chips, vanilla, pipe tobacco and stony/mineral undertones. It is supple and smooth but also brooding and muscular. Sun-baked earth, mocha and dried fruits dominate the palate.
A studious wine for hearty dishes and protein.
