Tangy, slick, savoury.
Made from Vancouver Island estate Pinot and sourced Okanagan Pinot, Quill is the second label of Cowichan Valley's Blue Grouse.
Cranberry and strawberry aromas are underscored by apples skin, cedar, forest floor and balsamic notes. It has notable acidity and plenty of earthy flavours along with wild greens and herbs, cranberry and sour cherry flavours. It has a slick texture and tobacco flavoured finish.

Approachable, spicy, supple.
Made from Vancouver Island estate fruit and sourced Okanagan fruit, this second label of Blue Grouse is a tasty blend of Merlot, Marachel Foch and Cabernet Franc. It offers aromas of blueberry and cherry fruit, vanilla, baking spices and mocha, licorice and dried herbal undertones. It is medium-bodied and fresh boasting supple juicy fruit, peppery spices and overall smooth character. Approachable with good persistence.
Pair: Game meats, sausages, burgers, pizza, firm cheeses and hearty vegetable stews.

Fresh, friendly, bright.
Made from Cowichan Valley sub-GI estate Gamay this light ruby-hued pink has a sweet nose of fresh red berries, rhurabr and cherry, peach stone and pink grapefruit. The palate is fresh and bright; it's a dry, mouthwatering style with orange peel and cranberry finish
Pair: fish or white meats, vegetarian dishes and cheeses.

Fresh, friendly, strawberries.
Made from Cowichan Valley Estate Gamay and Pinot Noir (50/50) this fresh rose has a cranberry-hue and aromas of strawberry jam, vanilla, cedar chips and tealeaf with a shot of cherry kirsch. It has a friendly demeanor and bright acidity with an earthy, red berry and spice character. Overall, good concentration and very enjoyable.
Pair: fish or white meats, vegetarian dishes and cheeses.
