Bordeaux

Chateau Pascaud Bordeaux Superier, Bordeaux, France
Readers rated this wine:

Classic, polished, refreshing.
Chateau Pascaud is located just south of Galgon, about 7km north of Libourne. The vineyards are comprised of various parcels on well-exposed slopes close to, and in some cases inside the Fronsac appellation. Made entirely from Merlot from vines on average of 40 years, it suggests aromas of red current and red plum, tobacco, brown spices, leather and pencil shavings. The palate has a classic lilt; leather, fine spice, tobacco and small red fruit flavours. The tannins are polished and the acidity is refreshing.

Chateau Pascaud Reserve Bordeaux Superier, Bordeaux, France
Readers rated this wine:

Fragrant, polished, appealing.
Chateau Pascaud is located just south of Galgon, about 7km north of Libourne. The vineyards are comprised of various parcels on well-exposed slopes close to, and in some cases inside the Fronsac appellation. Made entirely from Merlot from vines on average of 40 years, it suggests sweet cherry and vanilla, currants and dried flowers with cedar and chocolate. It has suppleness on the palate and flavours to echo the nose. Generous and smooth, modern and approachable. A very appealing red with polished tannins a long finish.
