Generous, fresh, expressive.
The 2019 vintage estate Merlot was harvested from T7's North Oliver Bench’s Blue Terrace Vineyard and Front Yard Vineyard in Naramata. In Oliver the rich, rocky soils provide a foundation for superior grape quality while those from Front Yard Vineyard on the Naramata Bench add complexity and dimension. It saw two-to-three weeks of maceration time and was aged in American and French barrels for 18 months before bottling.
Aromas of patchouli and plums, cherry cola and dried flowers, leather, cedar and pipe tobacco lead to an equally bright and expressive palate. Cherry, vanilla, cocoa, red berry and licorice flavours are infused with spice. Nicely balanced; a very pleasing wine. Pair: BBQ, hearty/meaty stews and pastas, roasted lamb, or medium to hard cheese

Plums and blackberry aromas are woven with cedar, baking spices, dried violets, chocolate, vanilla, leather and licorice. It's a supple wine, concentrated yet balanced with generous black and red fruit, cedar, earth fine spice and cocoa; the finish is smooth and trails espresso flavours. Pair: BBQ, hearty/meaty stews and pastas, roasted lamb, or medium to hard cheese

Plush, concentrated, generous.
Township 7's red meritage blends Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petite Verdot.
Expect lush cassis and chocolate mint patties, pencil shavings and plum cake. It is dense, thick and concentrated but fresh and laden with with generous fruit, chocolate, espresso and brown spices. Great acidity here adds wonderful levity and makes it even more appealing.

Fragrant, concentrated, textural.
Township 7's red meritage blends Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petite Verdot.
Muddled currants and plums, dark chocolate, star anise, vanilla and cola spices dominate the nose. The palate is rich but with powdery textural tannins throughout. It is spicy, dark and earthy with supple weight and good freshness.
Overall good balance and structure with a slightly more brooding character than last vintage.

Tangy, juicy, precision. From Township 7's new acquisition, the Blue Terrace Vineyard on the northern end of the Black Sage Bench in Oliver, this delicious and refreshing savvy offers peaches and honey, nettle and apple blossoms, on the nose. It has a kiss of sweetness but is pristine and juicy with slightly savoury undertones. The finish is long and tangy.
Pair: Asparagus fritters, herb quiche, coconut curries, seafood salads and most appetizers.
