Bartier Bros. Muscat, Okanagan Valley, BC
Readers rated this wine:
Charming, juicy, divine.
Divine and dry, Michael Bartier's 100% Muscat Ottonel was grown in Summerland on sandy loam topsoil with sandy silt subsoils, it was whole cluster fermented, and aged in stainless for six months.
It has a lively nose of lemon-lime woven with crunchy stone fruits, wildflower talc, white grapes and honey. Gentle on the entry is grows racier mid-palate and leads to a lip-smacking finish. Juicy and precise, this is singular and charming white.

Bartier Bros. Pinot Noir Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Juicy, silky, classic.
Without doubt, Michael Bartier is one of British Columbia's most talented and humble winemakers. He makes honest wines and trusts the site and the fruit to dictate the wine. For wine club members only, the Pinot Noir grapes offered to Michael for this wine come from Naramata and it was aged 17 months in neutral French oak barrels and tank.
Classic styling, it offers aromas of forest floor and spice, tealeaf, sour cherry and cranberry, dried violets, cedar, leather and star anise. It's juicy and silky and the palate is more grounded than the nose. Lovely fruit expression with a long fresh finish.
