Bartier Bros. 'Granite', Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
NEW, pretty, juicy.
This new red blend of Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon was aged 19 months in neutral French oak barrels before blending and bottling.
Expect pretty notes of plum, cedar and black raspberry underscored by cherry tobacco, violets and sweet brown spices. The palate shows liberal juicy red fruit and earthy, slightly peppery undertones. Good structure and balance here, with chalky tannins and a tobacco tones finish.
