Selbach Riesling 'Fish Label', Germany
Readers rated this wine:
Classic, fragrant, approachable.
A classic and mouthwatering style, the Selbach Fish label doles out crunchy green apples and stone fruits with slate and fragrant honeysuckle aromas. Fresh and approachable; flavours of peaches, honey and yellow apples whisper across the palate. Deftly handles sweetness, balanced and delicious.
Pair: white meats, fresh veggie curries, Asian noodle dishes, hand-chipped fries dipped in chili aioli.
Pairs Great with Gone Crackers Roasted Shallot & Herb

Selbach~Oster Zeltinger Himmelreich, Riesling Auslese, Mosel, Germany
Readers rated this wine:
Special, satisfying, pristine.
This special 375ml bottle packs a lot of delicious.
Himmelreich (German for "kingdom of heaven") is the largest of the three single vineyards/crus/ appellations in the town of Zeltingen. Himmelreich stretches from the steep slope behind mid-village, to approximately one mile downstream. The steep part of Himmelreich faces due south, with chunky slate on top of the deep slate bedrock. Selbach-Oster owns major portions of the steepest, south-facing portions of Himmelreich.
It is intensely scented with lemon tea, bergamot and pristine stone fruit aromas. The palate is rich, but equally taut and perfectly balanced; the texture is slick. A delightful wine that makes me think me of lounging outdoors on a breezy summer's day drinking sweet tea and lemonade; perfectly refreshing and satisfying.

Shelter Winery 'Lovely Lilly' Pinot Noir, Germany
Readers rated this wine:
Fragrant, juicy, engaging.
Based in Baden, Germany, Shelter Winery is comprised of husband and wife team Hans-Bert Espe and Silke Wolf; the wine, Lovely Lilly is named after their dog. This estate is farming organically and native yeasts are used for fermentation in open top vessels. The winery started up in an old Canadian Air Force hangar; the Shelter building.
It's a fragrant one--cherry and raspberry, cedar and dried flowers, cranberry and sweet spice aromas dominate the nose. It's dry and juicy with high-toned red berry flavours woven with tealeaf and spice. It's an engaging wine with good classic pinosity.
