Complex, elegant, outstanding
Domaine Drouhin, a 235-acre estate, was established in 1987 by Burgundy's Maison Joseph Drouhin in the Willamette Valley's Dundee Hills.
Made from hand harvested estate grown Pinot Noir that was aged in French oak, this outsitanding example features aromas of fresh pomegranate, wild cherries, tealeaf and vanilla, fine sweet spice and a fragrant undertone of purple flowers. Silky and fresh as the nose suggests, the palate is complex and woven with a notable muscular frame--wonderful balance here. Lengthy and elegant it's a wine that will show well for 10 years and more.
