New, fresh, pristine.
Clos du Soleil is an organic winery located in the Similkameen Valley, they make minimal intervention wines with elegance. The Winemaker's Series consist of wines made to highlight varieties outside of Clos du Soleil's normal portfolio.
This new La Cote Vineyard Chardonnay is best described as fresh. It was fermented in oak and stainless steel; it was aged on lees for 8 months with occasional stirring and was filtered just prior to bottling.
It has a pale yellow-green tinge and pristine aromas of golden fruits, orange blossoms, toasted hazelnuts, lemon balm and faint spice. It's a pretty wine with a juicy character and flavours of spiced yellow apples, warm nuts, peaches and orange segments. Expect lovely suppleness, freshness and length.
