Complex, persistent, creamy.
From the historic Greata Ranch vineyard located between Summerland and Peachland, along Hwy 97, andd owned by the Fitzpatrick family, this traditional method fizz is made with the same philosophy as smaller batch Grower Champagnes are: entirely estate fruit.
Made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Meunier, it is matured on lees in bottle for 24 months it offers aromas of apple biscuits and summer berries, pears drizzled with honey, lively lemon and yeasty undertones. Creamy golden fruit lines the palate; it has attractive autolytic notes and a fine bead. Weight and complexity with freshness and persistence.
Second Review: July 2021
Loads of citrus peel aromas here, which are layered with yellow plums, golden delicious apples and bread dough. Exactly so, the palate is zesty yet leesy and creamy with nice complexity and persistence.
