Delicate, frothy, charming.
For more than 100 years the Medici family as made quality Lambruscos; today they own 60-hecatres across Emilia in the region of Emilia~Romana.
The Phermento is a natural wine made from Lambrusco, they refer to it as the ancestral method of sparkling wine production method, which uses yeasts and sugars of the actual grapes as opposed to adding selected conventional sugar and yeast.
A frizzante that is a rusty-salmon hue and smells of crab apple jelly and tangy red berries, rhubarb and cedar with woodsy undertones. It is dry and light-bodied with a delicate fizz. Tangy and lively it has a frothy and zesty finish.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Undressed.
