Elegance, polished, savoury.
The Luigi Bosca La Linda is a Malbec harvested from old vines planted at 960masl on the Andes Ridge in the province of Mendoza.
It's a savoury red with notes of wild herbs, smoked meat, brown spices and cedar underscored by black raspberry and vanilla. In the mouth red fruit flavours are layered with leather tobacco and cigar. Nice elegance here with polished tannins.
Pair with : smoked cheeses, burgers, roasted eggplant, mushroom dishes and anything grilled.

Fresh, plush, toasted.
This single 1050m (3500ft) high Remolinos Vineyard is a special site, which is owned by Decero, and located in the sub-appellation of Agrelo, in Mendoza.
Aged in French oak it offers plush aromas of black raspberry and vanilla, licorice, purple flowers and tobacco. The palate leans into sweet red berry flavours layered with black chocolate, espresso, toasted oak and spice. Good overall freshness and subtle savouriness here with mildly textural tannins.
A wine for BBQ, hearty proteins and grilled mushrooms.

Fleshy, supple, polished.
An inky ruby red with notes of chocolate cherries, vanilla, violets, star anise, pipe tobacco, leather and a whiff of bacon. Delightfully sweet wild berry and plum flavours are underscored by spice, dark chocolate, espresso and black licorice. Supple with balanced freshness and a long finish of polished tannins.
Pair: grilled or roasted meats, mushroom and thyme stuffed ravioli.

Charming, refined, juicy.
An exceptional Bourgogne at a reasonable price for a red Burgundy.
Light ruby in colour, the nose seduces with cherry and raspberry, violets and candied lilacs, tealeaf, cedar and fine spice aromas. That delicacy returns on the palate with hightoned red fruit, fine spice and cedar flavours. Lovely refinement, it has a silky texture and juicy, charming character.

Value, fresh, spiced.
Made to pair with Argentine asado (grill), this high-altitude oak-aged Malbec delivers red plums and cherrie, wild herbs and tobacco, fine spice, leather and vanilla aromas. It's not as full-bodied as I recall from previous vintages but remains fresh and laden with juicy red fruit, spice and teleaf flavours. It is medium-bodied, trails dark cocoa flavours and the tannins are chalky.

Supple, fresh, savoury.
From vineyards 1700+ MASL, this supple Malbec by the company Michel Torino, suggests blackberry and concord grape aromas, baking spice and violets, licorice and purple flowers on the nose. It has a round velvety entry and savoury flavours; dark chocolate, espresso, bay leaf, tobacco and spice. Good overall freshness and balance here.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Parmesan & Rosemary
