Fontanafredda Barolo Serralunga d'Alba, Piedmont Italy
Readers rated this wine:

Grown on hillside vines in Serralunga d'Alba in limestone, marl and sandy soils, this 100% Nebbiolo was aged for three years before bottling
The 250-acre Fontanafredda is the largest contiguous wine estate in Langhe, located in the cru of Serralunga d'Alba, is also the largest certified organic winery in Piedmont.
Expect a pretty nose of strawberry and roses, tealeaf and cedar with earthy undertones. It's medium-bodied with restrained tealeaf and fine spices, cedar and faint cocoa flavours the finish has notable tannic grip. Image differs from actual label.

Fuedo Maccari Grillo, Sicily Italy
Readers rated this wine:
Weighty, slick, harmonious.
I've reviewed this wine a couple of times and I think it's such a wonderful alternative white with incredible personality.
Golden in colour and aromas of lanolin, mineral, beeswax and straw flowers, yellow apples, Meyer lemons and just a hint of herbs. It is weighty and tangy, slick in texture and with excellent concentration. It is harmonious and juicy with a long and clean finish.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Olive Oil & Cracked Pepper

Readers rated this wine:
Opulent, concentrated, provocative.
Wowza.
Opulent and showy, this Nero punches out of the glass with blueberry liqueur, velvety chocolate, licorice, purple flowers and baking spices. It is equally provocative in the mouth; plush mocha and intense purple fruits keep their power from entry across the finish. Concentrated and extremely pleasing, it is a ride-or-die kind of brew.
Pairs Great with Gone Crackers Roasted Shallot & Herb

J.L Chave Selection 'Mon-Coeur', Cotes-du-Rhone, France
Readers rated this wine:
Inky, supple, fresh. An inky red with purple glints made from Grenache and Syrah.
Overall it's an earthy wine with attractive aromas of black plums and cherries, smoked brown spices, finely ground pepper, cocoa and garrigue. Savoury and intense with black fruit, espresso and bittersweet chocolate flavours layered with smoked meat. Supple and fresh and bordering on brooding; a good wine for grilled proteins, aged goat cheeses and hearty mushroom or bean dishes.
