Cecchi 'Soria de Famiglia' Chianti Classico DOCG, Tuscany Italy
Readers rated this wine:
IRustic, smooth, tangy
Made from 90% Sangiovese (the classic variety of Chianti) along with 10% other indigenous accepted varieties grown in Castellina in Chianti. This one has a rustic and meaty character, savoury spices, toasted oak, cocoa, tar, leather and a fine seam of tangy red fruit. The palate follow suit; tangy, lean, rustic and straightforward. It is smooth with a tealeaf finish and loads of acidity.
Pair: Lasagna or fire roasted tomato sauces on meat of pasta.

Cecchi Chianti, Tuscany, Italy
Readers rated this wine:
Fresh, classic, rustic.

Bottled at the Cecchi winery in the Chianti Classico sub-region of Castellina in Chianti, this value Chianti (not a classico) delivers sour cherries, dried strawberry, saddle leather, cocoa, cigar and fine spice aromas. It's fresh and medium-bodied with pleasing notes of forest berries, tobacco and spice. Smooth on the tongue, it's a rustic and slightly watered-down version, but at the price, it's a great value dinner red, perfect with tomato sauces, bean and vegetable soups, pizza and salami.

Concha Y Toro 'Marques de Casa Concha' Chardonnay, Coastal Vineyard, Limari, Chile
Readers rated this wine:
Toasted, creamy, tangy.
While nothing is truly far from the ocean in Chile, this wine comes from a vineyard in Limari (a notably cool-climate region gaining in popularity) and is made from the notably fruity Mendoza Chardonnay clone.
Browned butter and grilled lemons carry the nose and are lifted by Gala apples and vanilla with layers of toasted hazelnut, coriander seed, and bay leaf. The palate is supple and creamy with impressive intensity. Tropical fruit is carved through the flavour profile, along with tangy lemon and toasted nuts on the finish. Excellent posture, on-point acidity and notable length.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Canadian Chedder & Chive

Craggy Range 'Te Muna' Sauvignon Blanc, Martinborough, New Zealand
Readers rated this wine:
Complex, textural, mineral.
If you're a fan of Kiwi savvy, this is a nice addition to your regular repertoire. Grown on the southern portion of the North Island, it has a bit more oomph and texture than a lot of the South Island's Marlborough versions.
Nettle and elderflower leaf aromas are woven with jalapeno, gooseberry, passionfruit and jasmine, atop notable mineral tones. It is precise, dry and textural with a mineral core; nice creaminess and richness adds complexity and the finish is persistent.
