Haywire 'Switchback Vineyard' Pinot Gris, Okanagan Valley, BC

Second Review: November 2021 Creamed corn and pears, quince and golden delicious apples, muddled lime and bread dough aromas lead to a leesy palate. Creamy yellow fruit, dandelion tea, wet stone and tangy lemon flavours are expressed on the palate. A slickly textured wine with bold acidity.

Textured, creamy, smoked.
This wine was naturally fermented and then aged concrete tanks for 8 months.
Hickory smoked apples, creamed pears, wildflower honey and wild mushroom aromas translate to a palate of stony minerality, grilled citrus, bruised apples and tealeaf. Creamy and textured. ©copyright 2020 Daenna Van Mulligen
