Succulent, spicy, earthy.
The little brother to
Le Grand Vin is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec & Petit Verdot.
As is classic to this estate, the wine is earthy and savoury offering forest berries, cocoa, leather, burnt toffee, mint, soy sauce and pencil shavings on the nose. Molasses, soy sauce, cocoa, toasted spice and brooding berry flavours dominate the palate. Good overall length, structure and balance.
Pair: Grilled or roasted meats, stews, puy lentils with savoury herbs, aged hard cheeses.
