Falernia 'Tierra Seca Goldmuskateller', Elqui Valley, Chile
Readers rated this wine:
Purity, perfumed, concentrated.
The Tierra Seca is made by Falernia, a winery established in 1998 in the northernmost winemaking region of Chile, in the semi-arid Elqui Valley.Made from Moscatel (typically used in the production of Pisco) this single vineyard perfumed white shows tart green apples and apricots, white blossoms and honey aromas. The palate is zesty but off-dry with lovely suppleness on the tongue. Lovely concentration and purity here, with vague salty undertones and a racy finish.
