Les Ligeriens Rose d'Anjou, Loire Valley, France
Readers rated this wine:
Luminous, harmonious, sleek.
This salmony-pink and luminous rose made from Gamay and Grolleau (chiefly found in the Loire). It is a half-dry wine (typical to Anjou). Honeyed peaches, sweet summer berries, tealeaf and vanilla aromas lead to a sleekly sweet wine with tart and tangy fragments. It has a long clean finish and will suit exotic cuisines like Moroccan or Szechuan. ©copyright 2019 Daenna Van Mulligen
