Falernia Pinot Noir Gran Reserva, Elqui Valley, Chile
Readers rated this wine:
Classic, silky, earthy.
Falernia is a winery established in 1998 in the northernmost winemaking region of Chile, in the semi-arid Elqui Valley.
Herbal notes are layered with spice and forest floor, wild red berries, bacon fat, carrot tops, cedar and leather. A classic style it is juicy with tangy red berries, cocoa, earth and bacon fat and peppery spices with savoury undertones. Great presence and balance. ©copyright 2022 Daenna Van Mulligen
