Roubine

Provence

Chateau Roubine 'La Vie En Rose' Cotes de Provence, France
Readers rated this wine:
Charming, restrained, snappy.
This gorgeous bottle houses a pale salmony pink, which is a blend of Grenache with 20% Cinsault, 20% Tibouren (first you've heard that one, I'll wager) and 10% Syrah. Additionally, Chateau Roubine is certified organic and has been utilizing biodynamic practices for many years.
This vintage offers aromas of kumquats and rooibos tea, citrus blossoms, fine spices and pencil eraser. It is bright and tangy in the mouth with restrained flavours of pink grapefruit and wild red berries. It seems to be lighter than the last vintage I tasted (2016) and is certainly a snappy sip deserving attention.

Chateau Roubine 'La Vie En Rose' Cotes de Provence, France
Readers rated this wine:
Charming, pretty, slick.
This charming dusty pinky-salmon rose is housed in a beautifully designed bottle is a blend of Grenache with 20% Cinsault and 10% Syrah (a blend that differs slightly from the 2018). The Roubine estate in Cotes de Provence covers 130-acres, 100 of which is planted to organically grown vines.
Cedar and rooibos tea, tangy red berries with kumquats and hints of vanilla, herbs de Provence and spice aromas develop into a lively palate of pink grapefruit, fleshy peach and wild red berries. It's a pretty wine with a slick texture, good buoyancy and persistent finish.

Chateau Roubine 'La Vie En Rose' Cotes de Provence, France
Readers rated this wine:
Charming, fragrant, snappy.
This gorgeous bottle is home to a peachy-pink and is 60% Tibouren (first you've heard that one, I'll wager) and 40% Cinsault. Chateau Roubine is certified organic and has been utilizing biodynamic practices for many years.
The wine offers charming aromas of white peaches, strawberries and rhubarb, satsuma oranges and freesia blossoms with hints of honey. It is snappy with a sweet kiss and some cedary/spice flavours on the finish. Overall, good structure and concentration
It is a rose, which deserves a place at your table, all year round.
