Corcelettes 'Sante' Frizzante, Similkameen Valley, BC
Readers rated this wine:
Charming, fizzy, lively
This fizzy Prosecco-esque blend of Pinot Gris with 20% Chardonnay doles out crunchy orchard fruits, white grapes, honey and citrus blossoms. It's off-dry with a lively bubble and equally lively acidity and has a nice citrusy finish. A charming option for sipping, appetizers or light desserts.

Corcelettes Estate Winery 'Micro-lot Series' Chardonnay, Similkameen Valley, BC
Readers rated this wine:
Juicy, purity, fresh.
Corcelettes is a family run boutique winery of 5500 cases per year; it’s situated on 150-acres of the Similkameen Valley's rugged Upper Bench in Keremeos. The first vintage was in 2011 and since, Charlie and Jesce Baessler have made the estate a destination winery known for warm welcomes and elegant region-reflective wines.
New to the portfolio, the Chardy was barrel fermented in 25% new oak and saw daily lees stirring for sixteen weeks wile going through a full malolactic ferment.
It has lovely freshness on the nose; dried pineapple and Meyer lemons, creamed corn, caramel, juicy yellow apples and vanilla aromas lead to lovely purity in the mouth. It has a juicy entry and slick texture, the finish trails oak spice and vanilla flavours.

Sante en Cannette is their fresh little sparkling wine on the go. Made from Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc it comes in a 250ml can and is less than 80 calories per 150ml.
As expected it’s simply joy to drink--fresh and fizzy it delivers delicate white floral and orchard fruit notes. Light-bodied, dry and juicy and just $6.90 per can.

Corcelettes Estate Winery 'Talus', Similkameen Valley, BC
Readers rated this wine:
Composed, elegant, sensuous.
Corcelettes is a boutique winery settled on 150 acres of the Similkameen Valley's Upper Bench in Keremeos. Talus their flagship wine, is deftly constructed from the best fruit grown on their alluvial deposit and gravelly sandy loam soil vineyard.
The 2019 is the second release of this wine, a blend of Merlot (45%), Cabernet Franc (28%), Cabernet Sauvignon (21%), Petit Verdot (2%) and Malbec (4%) that was hand harvested from designated site specific vines. What makes Talus so special is these sites were individually fermented in their smaller volumes followed by 100% french oak barrel (225L) aging. Those barrels were vetted for their expression as individuals and again as a whole in the blend.
A plush nose suggests chocolate dipped cherries, black currents and plum pudding alongside pipe tobacco, vanilla and a splash of cold brew. Just as sensuous as the nose, the palate is laden with expressive dark fruit woven with espresso, dark cocoa and leather flavours. It's an on-point blend with structure, composure and freshness, but most notably, elegance.

Complex, polished, balanced.
Corcelettes is a boutique winery settled on 150 acres of the Similkameen Valley's Upper Bench in Keremeos. Talus their flagship wine, is built from the best fruit grown on their alluvial deposit and gravelly sandy loam soil vineyard. It's a blend of Merlot (38%), Cabernet Franc (31%), Cabernet Sauvignon (15%), Petit Verdot (12%) and Malbec (4%) that was harvested throughout October and November of 2018; it was aged 18-months in French oak barrels before bottling.
This vintage expresses spiced plums, sweet black currents and blueberries atop muddled dried violets, pipe tobacco, vanilla and chocolate. Admirably constructed, it delivers dusty dark fruit, dark cocoa, savoury spices and wild Similkameen brush flavours. The tannins, while evident and youthful, are polished; the balance is on point, complexity is notable. You could not make this wine anywhere else, it shows true definition of place in every sip.
